ith out a doubt the best way to deter thieves from committing a crime at you're

home or business is to install a security camera!, in the past they were quite expensive

and had limited features, but modern manufacturing techniques have seen a big drop

in price and huge leap forward in image and sound quality.

Having a home security camera can make sense safety wise too, such as keeping an

eye on the children around the family swimming pool or pond!.

As with most electronic products on the market the range of video equipment

is huge!, and the installation can confuse most people?.

We decided to put together a simple yet sophisticated surveillance package that

would provide the highest level of security and features while being easy to

install by anyone at a price that everybody could afford!.

The first component you require is the CCD Camera itself, there are many currently

on the Australian market and prices can vary a great deal, we have tested most models

and have one particular unit that stands out.

The BW-100 is with out a doubt the best economical CCTV camera in our view

for sale in Australia today and this is largely due to the image quality it provides!,

when tested side by side against some of our more expensive cameras (even those with

interchangeable lenses), this unit gave the sharpest image of the lot.

This camera also has a built in electret microphone to pick up even the slightest

sound and during our test, conversations were unintentionally picked up at a

distance of forty meters!.

Low light image reproduction is another area where any decent camera must perform

well and the BW- 100 has six Infa Red lamps built in to its housing to provide you

with daylight viewing conditions even in complete pitch darkness!, and as far as we

know this is the only model that gives you all three of these major functions!.

When it comes to viewing you're security camera a sharp monitor is a must!,

we have selected the companion BWM-150 as our unit of choice, this model has a

six inch screen and a dual channel switching function built in, what that basically

means is you can connect two cameras to the monitor at once!.

When activated the picture will switch from one unit (say by the family pool), to the other,

(perhaps at the front door), and you can set the amount of viewing time

of each camera between two and 20 seconds!, now that's versatility!.

Installing this unit is also a breeze, unlike many other models on the market we have made

the fitting of this unit very easy for every body!, just mount the cameras where you want

to, plug in the provided single cables (they are 20 meters in length each) at both the camera

and monitor ends,then plug in and switch on the unit!, its that simple!, you will get a high quality sound in all light conditions.

The good news doesn't end there, we have actually provided a separate 5 meter cable that

can be connected to the BWM-150 monitor to run to you're own video recorder to tape

everything seen and heard by the cameras!.
